Fandangos de Huelva is a popular regional species of Fandangos from the province of Heulva. A lively dance for couples reminiscent of Sevillanas. Like the Sevillanas, copla melodies follow a standard harmonic pattern set within a strict rhythmic structure. This is another student study I wrote in 1996.

I call it “easy flamenco”. This is all relative to the skill level of the person trying to play it. To a beginner it may not be so easy but compared to the typical fandangos it is easy. I did not include many of the traditional falsetas used in Fandangos. This is focused mainly on the rhythmic passages.I hope you like it.
